Our Role

Stay Utah is a technology platform that facilitates bookings between guests and independent management companies and hosts (“Hosts”). Stay Utah does not own, operate, or manage the listed properties and is not the merchant of record for any stay.

Host Licensing & Permits

Each Host is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, registrations, tax registrations, and insurance required to lawfully list and operate its properties, including any short-term-rental license, business license, occupancy/transient-room tax registration, and compliance with applicable zoning, safety, and local regulations. By listing on the Platform, Hosts represent that they hold all such required authorizations.

What This Means for Guests

Because Hosts operate independently, licensing and permitting requirements—and the responsibility to meet them—rest with the Host for each property. Stay Utah does not verify, warrant, or guarantee any Host’s licensing or regulatory compliance and is not responsible for a Host’s failure to comply.
