To access the casita, guests must walk up a spiral staircase. Please note that the balcony and the private pool are reserved for the main property and are not accessible to guests staying in the casita. However, guests will have access to the back driveway for convenient parking and the resort amenities, including the pool, spa, and pickleball courts. Our homes are located in the heart of the desert, where the unique enviornment means occasional encounters with pests, despite our best efforts. We spray monthly for pest control to maintain a comfortable space for our guests.

During the summer months sugar ants are more common, and they can appear if food is left out, even with regular pest control. In the winter, cockroaches may be seen more frequently. While we take extensive measures to keep them out, the desert environment can sometimes make it unavoidable.

Please note that refunds will not be granted for pest sightings. However, if you let us know, our pest control team can come out during your stay to spray again. We truly do our best to maintain a clean and pest free home and appreciate your understanding of these natural desert challenges.

The property itself is spacious, clean, and visually appealing, and it accommodated our family of five comfortably. However, our overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. The pool key fob did not work during our stay. Before booking, I specifically reached out to the co-host about prior reviews mentioning pool access issues because this amenity was very important to our family during spring break. I was reassured, but unfortunately, the same issue occurred. When I followed up the next day, communication stopped completely and the problem was never resolved. This lack of follow-through and accountability significantly impacted our stay. If access to amenities is important to you, I would be cautious when booking.

Actually, you don't have access to the swimming pool. The first thing you should know is the bedroom walls only go 2/3 to the ceiling. There is no privacy when it comes to conversation or baby napping. Also, the stairs to the entrance, which is on the second floor, is a very narrow spiral staircase. If you have small children or anyone who struggles with stairs, this is not a good place for you. The pool is behind a locked gate, which they were supposed to leave us a a key. They didn't. Over the course of our four night stay I asked multiple times for the key. They said they were looking for it. And once even said they were bringing it right over. Which they never did. Then they completely stopped communicating with me. Pretty frustrating to pay for a place that has pool access and then never get to use it.
